Dutch end women’s golf season with match play win – Central College Athletics

PELLA—Taking on American Rivers Conference rival Wartburg College in the third-place match of the Battle at Bos, the Central College women’s golf team won 5-0 Sunday afternoon.
           
In the title match, Grinnell’s A team beat its own B team 4.5-0.5.
           
The Dutch were dominant in their win over the Knights on their home course at Bos Landen. Parker Stout (junior, Lowden, North Cedar HS) won by the largest margin possible at No.5 with a 10 and 8 win. Rachel Sohn (senior, South O’Brien HS) won 7 and 6 at No. 4 singles. Mackenzie Biggs (senior, Bloomington, Ill., Normal HS) was a 5 and 4 winner at No. 1
           

Peyton Bytnar (senior, Bettendorf)
and Lydia Grond (junior, Hull, Boyden-Hull HS) both won 4 and 3 at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
