DUBLIN – Bowling all-rounder Fionn Hand will join Ireland Men’s T20I squad for the Tri-Series in the Netherlands, with Graham Hume missing the trip due to visa delays.
Visa processing delays mean that South African-born Hume (who requires a Schengen Visa to play in the Netherlands) will now miss the tour. This matter has no impact on Hume’s inclusion in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup squad, of which he was named last week
Hand, 25, has played 10 T20Is for Ireland Men and was recently brought into the squad for the 3rd T20I against Pakistan on Tuesday.
THE TRI-SERIES
The Tri-Series will be played at Voorburg, between May 18 and 24, with all games live-streamed by the European Cricket Network (ECN) with six cameras.
